Dear Colleagues!

We would like to invite you to participate in the IV International scientific and practical conference, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Antarctica Discovery «The natural environment of Antarctica: cross-disciplinary study approaches». The conference will take place from 7 to 11 September 2020 in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve, Domgerice, Belarus.


Conference Languages: English, Belarusian, Russian.


The main topics of the Conference are as follows:

  • Ecological problems and protection of Antarctic natural environment.
  • Study of Antarctic biota; modern methods and approaches.
  • Medical and biological studies and problems of prevention of the polar settlement territories.
  • Climatic, meteorological and aerospace researches in Antarctica.
  • Geological, geophysical, glaciological and paleogeographic researches in Antarctica.
  • Development of the instrumentation base for scientific research in Antarctica.
  • Antarctic logistics, infrastructure, safety.
  • Legal aspects of activities in the Antarctic Treaty System.
  • Promoting the international scientific cooperation in the Antarctic.

The forms of participation in the conference:

  • Oral presentation at the plenary session (up to 25 min).
  • Oral presentation at the section (up to 15 min).
  • Poster presentation.

State Environmental Institution «Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve», Domgerice township, Vitebsk region, Belarus (see map).

THE REGISTRATION FEE IS 40 USD

20 USD FOR STUDENTS, MASTER STUDENTS AND PHD STUDENTS

The registration fee covers the expenses for the publication of the Conference Proceedings, the package of the conference participant, transfer from Minsk to the venue, coffee breaks. Each publication in the conference proceedings should be paid separately.


The expenses for travel and accommodation are paid by the participants of the conference independently or by the organizations that send them.
